In our 5-day enriched and practical training program, we will focus on the following themes:

• Day 1: Introduction to SEL and Conceptual Framework: CASEL’s five core competency models and SEL’s place in European Union education policies.
• Day 2: Emotional Awareness and Management: Practical workshops such as the emotion wheel, mindfulness-based techniques, stress management, and in-class ‘Emotion Thermometer’.
• Day 3: Empathy and Social Awareness: Perspective-taking, role-playing techniques, inclusivity, and empathy-enhancing activities like ‘Put My Shoes On’.
• Day 4: Communication, Relationships, and Leadership: Nonviolent communication, mediation, setting boundaries, peer relationships, and group collaboration dynamics.
• Day 5: SEL Integration and Assessment: Integrating learned SEL strategies into the school curriculum, game-based learning, and SEL assessment tools.
